Collaborative, Team-Based Dermatology Care
Advanced Dermatology of Alaska provides collaborative, team-based dermatologic care built on consistent, standardized protocols across our providers. Our care model is physician-led.
Our physician assistants are dermatology-trained by the practice's physicians and follow shared, evidence-based treatment protocols. They routinely discuss cases with supervising physicians, and cases are escalated to physician involvement when appropriate. The goal is consistent, high-value dermatologic care for every patient you send our way.
Referred patients are seen across our Wasilla, Anchorage, and Juneau clinics. Mohs surgery and superficial radiation therapy (SRT) are performed at our Wasilla and Anchorage locations.
Why Refer to Us
We know you have a choice when referring your patients.
Here is what makes Advanced Dermatology of Alaska a trusted partner for your patients' dermatologic care.
Physician-Led, Team-Based Care
There is no substitute for training and expertise in dermatology. Our care is physician-led, and our physician assistants are dermatology-trained by our physicians, follow shared evidence-based protocols, and discuss cases with our physicians, escalating to physician involvement when appropriate. We update our treatment protocols regularly to reflect high-value, evidence-based care, so your patients receive consistent, standardized treatment.
Clear Communication Back to Your Office
We keep referring providers informed. Our goal is to share the diagnosis, treatment plan, and recommendations promptly so you can continue coordinating your patient's care.
Priority for Urgent Referrals
We prioritize urgent medical and surgical dermatology referrals, including biopsy-proven skin cancers. If you have a patient who needs to be seen quickly, call us at (907) 267-5890 and our team will coordinate directly with your office.
Comprehensive, Coordinated Care
Your patients have access to comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, including skin cancer evaluation and treatment, across our Wasilla, Anchorage, and Juneau locations. When a specific treatment such as Mohs surgery or superficial radiation therapy is best performed at our Wasilla or Anchorage location, our team coordinates scheduling so your patient has a clear next step.
